Solid & Striped

This January I got lucky enough to shed my sweaters and trade them for swim suits because I hopped on a big boat and headed down to the Caribbean. Every few years, my family takes one big trip that everyone is miraculously able to make amidst busy schedules and galavanting across the globe for various reasons. This year we grabbed our passports, swim suits, sunnies and ended up in Cozumel, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras.

I came back, tanner, more relaxed, and ready to take on 2018 with all the Caribbean vibes I collected. This trip was a pretty memorable one; my younger brother Clayton got engaged, we almost got kidnapped, and I ate my weight in gluten free Chocolate Melting Cake, plus I got to do it all in style, in my Solid & Striped vintage inspired "Brigitte" swimsuit. Funny enough, I chose this suit before realizing the name. Turns out it was meant to be.

I'm not much for the water, in fact, I really don't like swimming. I'm also not much for not wearing a lot of clothes, which is why I'm always drawn to high waisted and one-piece swimwear. It makes me feel more comfortable and confident. I'll definitely say, that this suit did exactly that, it made me feel like a million bucks; like I could be a character in the 1964 film  "Muscle Beach Party."

The material is really soft, it dries quickly, and the suit just looks totally killer, plus, if you sign up for their little news letter deal you get %15 off your first purchase, if you ask me, this is a great time to get your staple Spring Break and Summer swimwear.
